Trustees: AFSCME Local 34 has three trustee positions. The job of the trustees is to audit the financial records of the local union at least once a year, and report their results to the membership. They provide the local Executive Board with suggestions as to how the financial reporting and accountability can be improved. They also report any irregularities in the fiscal records and make recommendations for change. Each trustee serves a three year term of office, with the terms staggered so that one trustee is up for election each year. The trustees are elected by the membership of AFSCME Local 34.
